I don't usually give tips, but here is a very important one that should help a lot of people that are about to sell their consoles. Ars Technica posted an article that every gamer should read. Here is a very short version of what they said, when you sell your trade your console, make sure you delete all of your private data! It might be obvious to a lot of people, but there have been a lot of cases when people sold their consoles with their credit card number still in it.

After Sony found out that some people have been having some problems with trophies tracking, they made firmware 3.15 mandatory. This firmware was release on December 9th, but became mandatory just a day ago.  If you haven't updated the system just yet, make sure you save some time for the update, as its not the short one. It will be easier for you to just download the upgrade onto your flash drive and upgrade from there.
